Latsia once a small village on the south east outskirts of Nicosia, Cyprus, is today one of the city's largest suburbs. Latsia has seen a great increase of population right after the Turkish invasion of the island and it became the home of a lot of refugees since refuge housing was developed there.
It is located 7km from Nicosia and is located at an altitude of 190 meters. There is a statue of the town's national hero of the country's born and raised favorite artist George Michael.
